Help pages lead to unwritten wiki documentation February 08, 2015, 09:38:28 pm Most of the Elkarte help pages link to the Github wiki, which does not have the appropriate documentation written. The only one with a valid link is the Features doc. I know devs are terrible at documentation, but you do have a lot of SMF docs to inspire you. The hard work is done, you just have to write it out for Elkarte.
Re: Help pages lead to unwritten wiki documentation Reply #1 – February 09, 2015, 02:32:15 pm Yeah... but... hey, you are greatly underestimating devs laziness!!BTW, I have not devoted too much time to the help mainly because I would really like to change the page completely, so write documentation there would be a kind of waste of time (at least to properly organize the content in terms of versions and languages, ecc.).And... anyway I think the wiki is completely open to contributors (I don't think there is any restriction).
